We
had a blast on Saturday! Melissa really enjoyed the
lesson, although 4 hours wiped her out! I think that
you and your instructors were great. I was a little
leary as to what to expect from the surf clinic, but
you guys sure delivered! Jason, Frank and yourself
were very organized, professional and helpful. I will
definitely recommend your clinic to anyone I know
who is interested in learning to surf.

wonderful time. I still can't believe I was surfing
with just one lesson. Even though the guys at the
surf shop said there were no waves to be found in
south Florida, you managed to find the beach with
waves just right for me. I can't wait to come back
to Florida and surf again, and this time I'm going
to bring my kids for lessons too. If you ever come
out to Colorado I want you to give me a call. We
can go snow boarding or mountain biking together.

Geoffrey! You guys rock! We both had a super time.
Even though Johnny was far from being 100% healthy,
he was still able to learn a lot and had a great time
with Jason. Jason is very knowledgeable, very friendly,
and was very patient.
The
goodie bag was SOOOOO cool. The instructional booklet
is great to hold on to and review and let me just
tell you that the darn green noise maker is his
FAVORITE thing...lol We were in the airport at 1:45am
and here I am coming out of the bathroom and I hear
rrrrrrrrrrrrr...I was cracking up! Thank you so
much for putting the goodie bag together.

just want to let you know how pleased we were with
the lesson and particularly with Jason! He was an
outstanding instructor, professional yet personable.
The girls (14 yrs old) were comfortable with him
and said he was very supportive and positive. It
was truly a great experience.

My
class had a wonderful time taking surf lessons from
you and Jason. Thank you again so much! The class
will not stop talking about how much fun they had,
and they are asking when we can go again!!! One student
went and bought a board and went surfing this past
weekend. The pictures were great as well. I appreciate
you taking those. I will definately pass Florida Surf
Lessons on to anyone I know. Please tell Jason that

I
had a great time at the lesson yesterday and I really
liked the pictures you sent. I am looking for a board
now and I talked to Ryan Heavyside, whose dad owns
Nomad, and he told me about how to attach a leash
to my dad's boards, so I might just do that in the
beginning and then buy a board later.

and Geoff - It's Tuesday night and I am sitting her
at home staring at my new board with a grin from ear
to ear. I have already made plans to get out and surf
all weekend with my buddy Kevin. I am going to spend
the weekend surfing and getting better at this sport.
When my head was turned to this sport, I knew right
away that this was something I wanted to do. I feel
that from now on surfing is going to be a big part
of my life. I wanted to thank you guys for playing
such a huge part of making that happen. You both went
out of your way for me and I am always going to remember
that. From what I have learned so far you both epitomize
what this sport is about and I am glad that my intro
to it was with you guys. I hope that all the people
who want to learn this sport get the chance to learn
with guys like you. You're the best.

Its Betsy from Indiana... I wanted to email you and
thank you! Last Tuesday was awesome. I had the best
time!!! :) I don't think I stopped smiling from the
minute I woke up that morning to the time I crashed
later that night! I don't know if you talked to Marc
or not after the lesson, but it was great. I actually
caught a few waves and rode them! I was soooooo addicted
after the first time, I could have stayed out there
all day long :) My new hubby didn't have as much luck
as I did, but he still had lots of fun too. I already
got the honeymoon/surfing pics back and I can't wait
to frame a few and put them up in our house!
Anyway,
I just wanted to thank you for helping me finally
get my wish...surfing lessons! I think that I definitely
got the best instructor. Make sure you let Marc
know that I absolutely loved him! He is an awesome
fit to your surf school and if all of your instructors
are anything like Marc- well, then you have
the best ever surf school!
I
talked surfing nonstop to my hubby the rest of the
week, so needless to say he will probably kick me
out of the house later this year and send me back
down to surf again! Whoopiee!!! I will get ahold
of you if I can come down again really soon!
Please
keep in touch, I'd love to hear about what's new
with you guys. And even though I am currently landlocked
in good ole Indiana, I am still very hungry to learn
all about surfing! So, if you have any good tidbits
of learning to pass on - please do!

Geoff,
It has been a while since we talked with you and that
Alyssa has had a lesson from you (you were her first
instructor in '04). She, obviously, loved the experience
that you provided her and has continued to surf. In
fact, this last Holiday season in December we spent
2 weeks in Costa Rica in Tamarindo.
As you may remember, subsequently, Alyssa tried out
for a movie and ended up getting a part that she worked
on during the summer of '04 called The Surfer King.
She has a small part, as "Melinda" and will
be in 2 - 4 scenes (hopefully they have not ended
up on the cutting room floor). In one scene, she will
be surfing the wave pool at Water World, etc.
We are proud to announce that the movie is finally
opening, Wednesday, April 5th at the Buell Theatre
in Denver, CO. We hope that you go to the web site
and check it out. You may also go to the credits web
site (she is Melinda, 18th down in order of appearance),
and the other web sites to gain more information about
the movie and its release. As a sideline, Robbie,
the lead is now on the new TV ABC comedy, Sons and
Daughters.
Thank you, Geoff for turning her on to one of her
loves now...surfing. We really appreciate it and hope
to keep in touch.

Geoffrey - I want to thank you for taking so much
of your time yesterday to answer all of my questions.
I have to say I was a little apprehensive about calling
- I was fully expecting an egotistical meathead to
be on the line, who was not really interested in "sharing"
the sport. I was really pleasantly surprised. You
were incredibly knowledgeable - You did not let me
feel like any one of the many questions I had were
stupid questions - I think your passion for the sport
really shows - but even more impressive than that
is your passion to share surfing with others - your
enthusiasm came right through the phone and has made
me so excited about my first surfing lesson tomorrow...
Owning
a business in the service industry, I know it's
nice to get positive feedback so I took a second
to jot you this e-mail. I am looking very forward
to my first lesson tomorrow with Marc - I can
only hope he has the same passion for "sharing"
as you do.
